How to move in the city ?
The city is well-developed transport system. It is served by an airport, Christchurch International Airport. There are links with all the world but especially with New Zealand and Australia. There are several buses, be careful they are called “metro” so do not make any confusion because there is no subway is Christchurch. One bus line is free, it goes around the town-centre, and very useful for the tourists. The other interesting type of transportation for tourists is the tramway since it also goes around the city centre and helps to reach sightseeing. You can also find a railway station to reach other cities and bicycles paths.
